In a state between being healthy and sick

It was more than a year ago that I discovered a vertigo happening to me from time to time. I’ve been to the doctors and received three diagnosis. The vertigo is still part of my life and there are still symptoms of a kind of pain in the area of my heart. Some days ago I’ve experienced them once more. The doctors say that I have a few chronical diseases and I must be prepared to have them until the end of my life. Since then my life is not the same and the quality of my life feels poor compared to the years I had before the outbreak of my disease.

When everything changes

What happens when all of our dreams suddenly disappear because we wake up on one morning and realize that something profoundly has shifted?

It happened to me last that a doctor diagnosed some sort of a chronic blood disease. This was like a punch right into my face. Today I remember that there are millions of people with a diagnosis like cancer, people who are involved in accidents or people who have to survive their very days by begging for food because they’ve lost their job and are on a downward spiral on the social ladder.
