TRANSITION WORLD … an initiative who is devoted to change. In Denmark there are locale groups as well. The Launch of the website TRANSITION WORLD was simultaneous to the celebration of the FUJI DECLARATION in Japan.

There have been thousands of people gathering at the Symphony of Peace Prayers from all over the world. At the same time there has been a celebration at Kronborg Castle in Denmark. It’s where Shakespeare’s tragedy ‘Hamlet’ takes place.

At Marienlust conference center there have been talks by Ross Jackson, Hazel Henderson, Peter Merry, Kingsley Dennis and more about change from their perspective. I’ll present the keynotes in future posts only on the English website. Many people agree that change starts in all of us. Nobody can tell for sure what’s going to happen. A threshold seems to be taken and the FUJI DECLARATION underlines the importance of every individual to decide for the way humanity will take.

The Fuji Declaration

It has been a long way through my own, personal dramas towards a more global worldview. After some kind of “Awakening” I heard many prophecies and stories from other people about mankind in transition. To find my place in a scenario of change is challenging. Why am I here? Why am I at this place? Why do I live exactly at this time? Why did I incarnate? It’s for sure that we invented separation and the illusion that splits us becomes more and more obvious and conscious. Other questions arise: How do we live as a global body of human beings on earth. How does an individual cell look like? Which function does it have?

It’s about moving from a think tank towards an action tank. That’s how Ervin Laszlo put it at the anniversairy of the Club of Budapest in 2014. We have to act differently than in the old paradigm. What are the new rules of the game? What can I influence in the outer world? How does my new life experience fit into the “new” global picture of creation?

There are many people who belief in a transition. They all act accordingly towards their belief in numerous initiatives around the globe. It seems like it’s about coming closer now. There is no ONE solution. It’s more or less an organic process and this development need many impulses from different directions and a proof of working in reality. These are the possible steps that we can go towards a sustainable lifestyle. Are we able to acknowledge that humanity has reached a degree of power that can eliminate the whole species and is able to threaten the biosphere? Do we take a commitment and a stand to deal in a sustainable way with earth and its “ressources”? It’s about empowerment – about selfempowerment.

The FUJI DECLARATION is a kind of invitation.
